Preparing for your session

                                                Return to SRT

All potential clients (except very young minors), need to have a phone consultation with Helen Bair before the first session. Call 602-320-2233 on weekdays after 5 PM for a free consultation.

Click this Intake link to find to the form. Following the instructions, then click send. Because the web is not completely secure, withhold any sensitive information until you are in session. If you prefer not to use the internet to send your intake, make a request to have a form emailed to you and you can mail it back or bring it in with you at the time of your session. However, if you return it in at the timeof your session, it will take session time, for which you will be paying, for your facilitator to read it over.

If your session is in person, you can pay at the time with credit, debit or cash—no checks.

If you are doing a web-camera or phone session from a distance, it must be paid in advance. You can pay by clicking Payment or the Payment link above on the page selections.

Because  SRT is heavily based on steps 1, 2 & 3 of the 12-step programs for addiction recovery, your perception of God/Higher Power needs to be discussed in advance. If you are atheist, or if your perception of God is vendictive and encourages you to hurt, kill or enslave others, you will need to find another kind of healing modality.

You may have others observe your session, but please discuss this with your facilitator before hand. Do not bring small children into your session.

Occasionally there are facilitators in training who would like to observe a session for their learning. Ask about discounted prices for allowing a trainee to observe your session.

Please discuss any drug use—recreational, prescribed or over-the-counter— before beginning, as some drugs can interfere with results. All information will be kept confidential. Make sure you haven’t had any alcohol five days to a week before your session. No marajauna 30 days before a session. If addicted to street drugs or alcoholic, you must refrain from all mind altering substances for 30 days before a session. Drug information will be kept confidential.

Make sure you are well hydrated by drinking plenty of water several days before the session.

Make sure you have had a good night’s rest (as much as possible) and are physically well before beginning your SRT session. These and similar mind altering conditions can interfere with desired results. Better to postpone your session and wait for a better time that you are well and rested.

Commonly, clients report feeling a light and euphoric feeling immediately after the session, which can last for hours or days. When life returns to normal, most report noticing their state of mind & emotions generally improved. The majority report being able to think about the traumatic memory or presenting symptom, free of the original negativity.

If the symptom has only been reduced, plan to do more work, until you have your desired results. It’s your responsibility to keep track of whether the symptoms have reduced or disappeared and report that at your next session.

With SRT, difficult issues can usually be resolved without having to re-experience the original pain or trauma. However, SRT can be exhausting, so it’s a good idea to plan time for a nap after, if you can.

Some clients report partial or sometimes complete symptom relief after the first session. But realistically, it may take longer. Results cannot be guaranteed, but an astounding majority report getting their desired outcome after having a speedy, non-invasive experience.

If you will be doing a long distance session, you need to prepare a place where you can be comfortable and completely relaxed in front of your computer or phone. Some people experience their whole session with their eyes open and head up, but most have their heads supported by a chair or pillow and eyes closed. Prepare ahead of time how you can make that happen. I have a chair in front of my computer with a high back so I can lay my head back, close my eyes and totally relax when I have a web-camera session done on myself. Find something that works in a similar way for you.

Long distance sessions MUST be paid for in advance. Select the Payment page on this website. You can use credit or debit.

Check out What Interferes with Results, to see if any apply to you.

Sometimes symptoms are caused by reasons other than what SRT is capable of resolving. Example: If your symptoms are caused by Candita (a fungus that grow in the body) or a nutritional deficiency, SRT alone may not produce desired results. If that is the case, keep looking. Tenacity is your friend.

Please communicate your intentions when you are ready to stop therapy, rather than going silent or not showing up for a scheduled session. The client is always in charge, so you decide when you are done. Out of courtesy, just let me know, please. Also, I would appreciate hearing your long-term results. A breif text, email or  phone call would be great.

To keep cost down for my cleints, I am my own secretary and a lousy one at that. So if you try to contact me and don’t get a response, just try again! I’m only human.

Please Read: Rarely after a session, does a person feel worse. However, occasionally defense mechanisms are removed but the issue(s) behind them have not yet been resolved, which means you may feel worse instead of better. PLEASE call or text your facilitator immediately! Usually a short phone session will usually resolve the problem and you will not be charged for that time.
