- I have the right to say “no” without feeling guilty
- I have the right to express all of my feelings and express them in a healthy moderate way
- I have the right to disagree with you
- I have the right to express my own opinions
- I have the right to decide what is right for me
- I have the right to my own thoughts and ideas
- I have the right to pursue the life of my choosing as long as I am willing to be responsible for the outcome and it doesn’t interfere with others rights
- I have the right to take care of myself
- I have the right to make changes in my life
- I have the right to be uniquely myself and express my opinions, tastes, and creativity
- I have the right to be treated with respect even if I am different and others have opposing points of view
- I have the right to believe what I choose to believe
- I have the right to my own ideas and thinking, and to express them even if they are met with disapproval
- I have the right to stand up for myself and my rights even if others disagree
- I have the right to protect, defend and make decisions about what is legally and rightfully mine and to take whatever legal and ethical measures to make that happen
- I have the right to remove myself from the presence of someone who is abusive
- I have the right to insist an abusive person leave my presence or property – I hold the right to call the authorities and ask for help to have them escorted away from me if necessary
- I have the right to refuse sex or to decide how it works best for me
- I have the right to make mistakes and learn from them
- I have the right to feel all of my feelings and express them in a moderate, appropriate way
- I have the right to love and be loved
- I have the right to be free
- I have the right to feel all my feeling and talk about them
- I have the right to teach others how to treat me
- I have the right to not smile while I am crying
- I have the right to establish my own limits and boundaries
- I have the right to be awkward, especially when learning and/or trying new behaviors
- I have the right to make mistakes
- I have the right to be listened to and taken seriously
- I have the right to set my own priorities
- I have the right to ask for what I need and want and take measures to make that happen
- I have the right to get what I pay for
- I have the right to ask for information from others
- I have the right to assert myself or not
- I have the right to change my mind
- I have the right to say, “I don’t know the answer”
- I have the right to take time to think things over
- I have the right to choose my own values and decide what is most important to me
- I have the right not to have to explain why I am choosing what I’m choosing, as long as I take responsibility for the outcome and as long as I’m not infringing on others rights
- I have the right to decide what is right for my own body
- I have the right to choose my own friends, profession, beliefs, and lifestyle
- I have the right to do less than is humanly possible
- I have the right to stand up for myself if I feel I am being violated
- I have the right to question authority
- I have the right to feel joy
- I have the right to love and to be loved

- I have the right to be relaxed, playful, angry
- I have the right to establish my own limits
- I have the right to act in ways that promote dignity and self-respect as
- long as other’s rights are not violated in the process
- I have the right to be treated with respect

- I have the right to love and feel good about myself
